Converting html to wml or making mobile version of your website
today in the era of mobile technology everyone wants to have their websites with mobile or wap version,even though mobile technology is continuously changing yet there are also some drawbacks in making wap site that is its greater complexity and the lack of knowledge about its coding and all that.
There are some of the ready made scripts which can do help you a lot like wap community script which you can found on sourceforge.net yet it is quite confusing as how to use it and it don’t have any manuals describing it.
This post is not about those scripts as i will talk about them later on but it is on how to convert the html of your website into wml version.
Well as i searched on net i found some links but they don’t work as looked

which was a page converter from html to wml language,there was also a software provided by them for translation but for it you have to compromise with your security and thats why i left it. So i tried that link but it failed.
But there was a decent post here at http://www.stylusstudio.com/xsllist/199911/post20410.html which was a tutorial which was easy but not for new learners as you can convert html to xhtml with help of validators but then the second task was somewhat difficult for me as i am also non technical person, you could use XSL to rewrite the markup from HTML to WML using your own rules.
