can yendex the new and leading russian search engine beat the google’s supremacy.As we cannot say that google can hold at each and every place this search engine commands a market share of about 645 of local language desktop search in Russia. It is also the largest wi fi network of free hot spots in Russia. It is spreading itself from local website search engine to mobile search. The Arkady Volozh is the CEO of this search engine as he says that “we have this homegrown technology that in many cases is better than theirs(rivals)”.Now mobile search is the largest and most lucrative opportunity for the search engines to diversify and spread up. Some online search engines stats The huge funds requrement for financing the better search engines projects make the search engine makers on the back foot.Germany have withdrawn itself from the project quaero they are now leading for a better project named “Theseus”.Against google there are other major projects like polar,pharos,and quaero but against the google large spendings their budgets come to end. Google is ruling net world and there might be changes very soon as if microsoft checks out yahoo then both of them can be dangerous competitiors for google.Lets see what happens.
