Google get 62 % of total search market.

according to a post and data which is collected by ComScore show Google nearing 62 percent of US searches in July after slight dip in June.The absolute cardinal of queries typed into chase boxes by U.S. Web surfers rose 2 percent to 11.8 billion in July from the previous month.

Out of the three big titans of search engine only google was able to get the benefited search queries which raised to 61.9 percent from 61.5 percent in June. While Yahoo’s search share dipped 20.5 percent from 20.9 percent. Microsoft, in third place, captured 8.9 percent of queries, bottomward from 9.2 percent in June.

Ask.com made 4.5 percent from 4.3 percent and aol.com 4.2 percent of searches, up from 4.1 percent in June.

  1. Mmmm, some interesting figures there, looks like Google is top dog and gonna be for a really long time. I know its my preferred search engine to use.

    I think if Yahoo, Microsoft and AOL didnt already have a huge base of subscribers / users on their websites, they would have even less usage. Their search engine clients are as a result of ‘riding the coat tails’ of their other services.
