Adsense target ad delievery are you benefited ?

Google adsense have started a new concept well it is not totaly new but some improvement in the technical part of delievering the ads to the user.For example a person reaches to your blog or website related to money making then they will add them to the money lover category so they will categorise per person.They have also changed the privacy policy due to this.

Internet Users browsing will benefit from the additional interest that the relevance of ads can provide. A visit to New Classifieds Preferences Manager users can see what we think the interest will fall within the categories and add or remove categories themselves. Ad Manager, click Preferences, click the “majority” Ads by Google “links on the Google ads you see on the web.

Now the main question is are the publishers benefited with it  ?

Well i don’t know much about the others but i can just say that hopefully it will; make some better for me.But not going right way.
