Many webmasters are looking for this solution as to how they can remove the way urls are shown in this manner /component/content/article when you have turned on sef feature of joomla.

Go to Joomla administration

Download   Sh404 sef   http://joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/10130/39009/com_sh404SEF-15_1.0.19_Beta_build_232.joomla1.5.x.zip

Install this component read this post carefully for installing sh404sef

Now Go to Configuration Panel

Now choose plugin tab from it

Now go and select whether you want to show sections and categories according to the name given by you to them for example category “Roses” to be shown in url or not or for section”Flowers” to be shown or not in url.

If you selected no to both options your url structure will be like this
