Many a times we want people to share their itunes with us and vice versa so to know who else if using the itune collection on your network.

- In Mac OS X, launch “Activity Monitor” ( in /Utilities)
- Look for “iTunes” in the Process Name and select it,
- Hit “Inspect” and choose “Open Files and Ports”
- Scroll down to the bottom and you will see the IP addresses of users who are connecting to your iTunes Music Library!
This software will displays information (hostname and status) for computers connecting to your shared iTunes 4 Music library. It also lists open music files.
or
open your iTunes Preferences and click the Sharing pane. At the bottom of the pane you’ll find the “Status” reporting something like “On, one user connected” if the neighbors are listening your tunes.
