Now it is clear that nofollow links are passing rankings to the websites. If it is not in google then in yahoo and msn it is working.I have seen some pages for my other websites which have nofollow tag but still they are being counted by google in webmaster tools page. And if you have a tag with no follow rule and you are thinking that you have protected your pages from serving page rank to other pages then you are wrong.
Back In History >> Google introduced this for comment spamming protection in 1/18/2005
From now on, when Google sees the attribute (rel=”nofollow”) on hyperlinks, those links won’t get any credit when we rank websites in our search results. This isn’t a negative vote for the site where the comment was posted; it’s just a way to make sure that spammers get no benefit from abusing public areas like blog comments, trackbacks, and referrer lists.

Sitepoint Forums Ban the nofollow links and are setting up in this way so that backlinsk will be shown only when a person login to the forum and is niot viewable for the search engines as well as other guest users.

Pr Sculpting

Oooops whats this. If the no-follow links are passing the PR value then whats the bloody fuss in having that tag. I wonder you might have some misconception in this regard ?
