The future-rss.php script is used to automatically delay the publication of articles in the RSS channel. This allows for items in the RSS can be made even more time and then slowly released over a period of time. Many people tried to pubDate field on their RSS items on a future date and time, to an item become ‘visible’ to the diet of their subscribers on a specific date and time. Sorry, but soon find that many RSS readers and aggregators will not honor future PubDates and immediately see all their feed items. FutureRSS
