Many times i used to think that placing only ad units in blogspot is not enough to make money from mine blogs, i used to think of google search (adsense) for blogger also but it was really hard to put it into action,i think there was hardly a way out.

Now with custom search element you can make more money and add a search facility to your blg readers.

Here is how

First go to this website www.google.com/webelements/customsearch/.

Secondly under “Configure”, be sure to select “Search my site and use AdSense for search.”

In the  AdSense Publisher ID field, be sure to enter your unique publisher ID properly (should start with “pub-”) check your codes of the websites where you have pasted before.

Copy the resultant code and go to blogger.com

Go to layout >> choose the “add a gadget” property

Then html or javascript code placer widget

Place the code and put it on top of the post or on right hand side i think top will be best position for it.
